Private orders

A secret-link desk only your buyer can see.

A private order never appears anywhere public. It exists only at a secret link, and only someone holding that link can see it or buy it.

Think of it like an unlisted video. Not on the board, not on the token page, not in search, but anyone with the link can open it.

Creating one

Flip Private when creating an order. You'll get a link like:

https://www.robindex.online/order/42?k=8Kx2vQ...

The random string at the end is the access key. That key is the permission to view and fill the order.

What private guarantees

Robindex answers "not found" rather than "this is private" on purpose. Saying "private" would itself confirm an order exists at that address, exactly what privacy should hide.

Recovering your link

Lost it? Go to My Desk and hit Private link. Your wallet signs a free message proving you're the seller, and the link comes back.

The signature is required for good reason. Wallet addresses are public. Without it, anyone could look up your address and lift your private links.

Good to know

  • The link is the secret. Anyone you send it to can buy the order, and so can anyone they forward it to. Treat it like a password.
  • Your tokens stay yours. Only you can cancel, and only with your signature. The link grants the ability to buy at your terms, nothing more.
  • You can cancel without the link. Cancel is signature-gated, not link-gated.
  • Private means unlisted, not invisible on-chain. Your escrow deposit is an ordinary transfer and is publicly visible like any other. Private controls who can find and fill your order, not what the block explorer shows.

Best for: an agreed OTC deal with one buyer, treasury sales, allocations you don't want front-run, and any trade you'd rather the market not watch.
