You decide what lands in your wallet. When you create an order, pick the tokens you'll accept as payment. Buyers choose from that list, and you're paid in whichever one they use.
Your options
| Option | Why |
|---|---|
| ETH | The default. Native, liquid, no approvals. |
| USDG | Get paid in dollars, so a fill's value doesn't move with the market. |
| Tokenised stocks | Exit a memecoin straight into NVDA, AAPL, TSLA or the S&P. |
| Any ERC-20 | Paste a contract address and accept whatever you want. |
| Several at once | Widen your buyer pool. Any of them fills the order. |
Hit Accept all to take every option, or tap individual tokens to build your own list. You always accept at least one.
Tokenised stocks
Robinhood Chain carries real equities as tokens, tradeable on Uniswap. Robindex ships the liquid ones as one-tap options, so you can sell a bag and be paid in Nvidia:
| NVDA | NVIDIA |
| AAPL | Apple |
| TSLA | Tesla |
| GOOGL | Alphabet Class A |
| AMZN | Amazon |
| MSFT | Microsoft |
| META | Meta Platforms |
| AMD | AMD |
| SPY | SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust |
Each is priced at its live rate when a buyer pays, exactly like any other payment token.
How the price works
Your order's price is set in the usual way, in USD per token. Whatever the buyer pays in, the cost is worked out at that token's live rate at the moment they pay. A $100 order costs $100 of ETH, or $100 of USDG, or $100 of anything else you accept.
Adding a custom token
Paste any Robinhood Chain contract address and Robindex reads the token straight off the chain, then shows you its real name, decimals and live price before you commit to accepting it.
Check the name, not the ticker. Anyone can deploy a token with any symbol, and plenty have. This chain carries four different tokens called TSLA, five called AAPL, and two called USDG. The impostors often pick the more official-looking name: the real Tesla token is "Tesla • Robinhood Token" and trades near the real share price, while a fake calls itself plain "Tesla" and trades at a fraction of a cent.
Robindex's presets are pinned to verified contract addresses, and any custom token you add shows its true on-chain name and live price before you accept it. If the name looks tidier than the preset, or the price looks wrong, it is.
Good to know
- Only tokens with a live price can be accepted. The cost of a fill is worked out from that price, so a token nobody trades can't be quoted. Robindex tells you at the point you add it, not later.
- Buyers see what you accept on the board and on the order page, before they open it.
- Refunds come back in the same token the buyer paid with.
- The 0.5% fee is taken in whatever token the fill was paid in.
